STREAM: “The Other Side”
Two childhood friends met on the midnight train home after a night out in downtown Gothenburg, Sweden. Victor Crusner and Fredrik Folkstad discussed old memories and had a great time connecting. They stayed in touch and began making music together. Ideas and visions turned into songs, which they then recorded piece by piece at different locations. Together as Manfred Kidd, the duo created an amazing and unique sound with their debut EP, Where Were You When You Were Us, which has been compared to the likes of The Killers and Passion Pit. The Wild Honey Pie music blog touts the debut as "one of those EPs that manages to never dull, only heighten as it progresses, ending with an inevitable repeat play – i.e. infinite plays." Their debut single "Lights" was an energetic indie pop piece that earned fans worldwide and global radio airplay. The Swedish twosome has since returned with new music in the form of the single "Treetops."
