Katéa, an incredibly gifted Helsinki, Finland-based chanteuse whose musical sounds are inspired by Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lorde, Florence + The Machine, Tove Lo and Lana Del Rey, is one of the most inspiring new female artists to emerge in recent years and is poised for global success. Her music is a unique blend of indie-folk and experimental pop, crafting songs with both piano and guitar-driven tracks topped with bright, yet strong, warm and heartfelt vocals. Great songs, an incredible voice and a strong work ethic, original and charismatic stage presence and a unique artistic vision that sets the creative bar very high: this amazingly talented young singer recently signed to a worldwide publishing deal with BMG Scandinavia. Katéa has been writing music and performing since she was nine and has written some great songs, including her amazing debut single, “That Ain’t Love,” co-written with hot Swedish writer/producer team Moneybridge. The single has already seen success in Finland, as it was playlisted at YLEX, where it peaked at No.1 on the YLEX most wanted list. The Lulu Raes are a four-piece outfit from Sydney who combine a love of pop, Motown harmonies and catchy weirdness to create their own danceable and infectious brand of indie/pop/rock. Members Eddie, Taras, Marcus and Tom were influenced musically by The Strokes, The Flaming Lips and The Pixies and have been compared to the likes of Talking Heads and the now defunct Aussie band Yves Klein Blue. The Lulu Raes debut single “The Way Life Runs,” reached No.4 on Triple J’s Unearthed charts and their follow-up single, “Reputation,” earned support on Triple J for a number of months. The Australian quartet have shared stages with The Vines, Little Bastard and DMA’s and will soon be touring Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in support of their new single “Swing Me On A Vine of Sunshine.”

At 21 years old, South London’s producer and vocalist Huntar first earned attention last year with his debut track “Expectations” and has now returned with his mixture of twisted pop and futuristic R&B. Huntar’s supporters include the likes of Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and most recently Annie Mac, who unveiled the title track from his EP Love I Know (Good Soldier Songs), on her BBC Radio 1 show. He’s received an influx of praise following his debut live show on the esteemed BBC Introducing Stage at this month’s Radio 1 Big Weekend and has just announced that he will be headlining London’s Electrowerkz in August. Huntar has also received positive reviews from leading tastemaker blogs Hillydilly, Earmilk and The 405 and has been generating international support on tastemaker radio stations from Germany, U.S., South America and Australasia.
