Born in Sydney, songstress Megan McInerney goes by the stage name of Meg Mac. At age 18, she moved to Perth to attend school and now at 22, she resides in Melbourne. Her influences include Adele, Sam Cooke and Amy Winehouse as well as the Motown sound and heavy doses of Soul music she grew up with. Her husky vocals have drawn comparisons to Nikka Costa and Macy Gray and she made a name for herself with her debut single, “Known Better.” Mac is currently working on her album, which is set to be released sometime next year. Her new single “Every Lie” is already getting Triple J Unearthed support and has been a recent music blog favorite. Meg is currently available for signing, licensing, booking, publishing and synch licensing in various markets worldwide.

Eric Zayne is a soul infused pop-rock musician and record producer who blends electronics to create a sound that is edgy, yet unique. At the tender age of 13 years old, Zayne started developing himself as a musician by playing in multiple bands throughout his home city, Montréal. His first major gig was a five-year tour across Asia where he played keyboards, guitar and sang in a funk band; these formative years taught Zayne about songwriting, performing and how to connect with an audience. Less than a year ago, Zayne arrived in Los Angeles and opted to focus his music on pop alternative, through his influences, which range from Prince to The Beatles, Lenny Kravitz to James Brown. He spent the summer in the golden state touring and promoting his music, while recording and producing his first EP, Between Us (What If Records). Fans have compared Zayne’s music to Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke and Gavin DeGraw.

The young quartet from Auckland known as Five Mile Town is made up of Louis McDonald (vocals, guitar), Adam Quigley (guitar), Levi Heeringa (bass, vocals) and Ryan Wilson (drums, vocals). As they evade requests to define their sound, they have admitted that if they had to describe it, they’d say it’s alt/country/folk/rock. Nonetheless, they’ve managed to get support from Triple J Unearthed, international support from the globally syndicated Passport Approved radio program and even won the 2012 International Songwriting Competition in the teen category for their debut EP. Five Mile Town’s demos were sent to A&R Worldwide last year by Ian McDonald who turned the previously unsigned Lorde on to Universal Music New Zealand who signed her several years ago. Five Mile Town have been working non-stop writing and recording new music and the result is their latest single, the infectious and melodic “Curious Creature,” which is taken from their new EP.
