When Talisco was a teenager, he discovered music and the guitar. Inspired by the likes of Slash, Rod Stewart and Stevie Wonder, he began to write his own songs. Soon his bedroom was transformed into a home studio with machines weaving hypnotic canvases for the guitar riffs along with his vocals, somewhere between the fragile soul of Nick Drake and the lyrical genius of Jeff Buckley. Walking the fine lines of trip hop and pop folk songs, in between is where you’ll find the Talisco sound. His debut EP, My Home (Roy Music/Universal) was released this year and gained a ton of momentum with the single “Your Wish.” Another track that is not found on the EP but starting to gain notice from radio programmers worldwide is the vulnerable, yet beautiful song “So Old.”

Her sweet voice together with the electro influence brings a world of sounds and images to an intimate and secret place. In a crowded world of female electro-pop artists, Suvi stands out with her soaring melodies and brilliant, yet not overdone production. She collaborated with producers Julius Duhs and Robin Svensk, best known as Robin Rocks & Rubio, who have worked with Nervo, Miike Snow and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Loreen. Releasing her material on her own label/record company called BeatRoot, “Bleeding From Your Love” is her latest single, which is beat-heavy and bass driven. Formed last year in Stockholm, Cape Lion is the outcome when producers/songwriters Carl-Johan Sevedag and Martin Wiklund put their heads together. Coming from widely scattered musical backgrounds, Carl-Johan grew up listening to and producing hip-hop while Martin had an indie pop background. Together, the electro pop duo delivers music with timeless hooks and melodies that stick right from the start. Their first single, “You Kept Dreaming” was released in early spring, giving the masses their first taste of Cape Lion. Their second single, “Jennie” pays homage to the 90’s with the thick synths and upbeat groove. The song was born out of studio sessions that weren’t originally intended for the public but has earned praise from music blogs and is starting to get noticed globally on radio stations thanks to the influential syndicated radio program Passport Approved. Cape Lion has also been gaining the attention of several major labels and publishers.
